I assume you don't smoke. Do you have absent pulses in your feet which would point to artery blockages? This can occur rarely from lupus. Atherosclerosis is a more common cause, usually in older people though. If your pedal pulses are good, spinal stenosis can cause calf pain when walking. Primary muscle disease is another possibility. What does your rheumatologist think?

You could be experiencing leg cramps from a lack of electrolytes and fluids Na, Ca, Mn etc. Talk to your family doctor for blood testing and evaluation.
