Keep the area clean and apply a thin layer of a mild OTC steroid cream. The issue may be a contact dermatitis from the depilatory cream which is like a 1st degree sunburn. You can re-apply the cream as needed. A cool compress can reduce pain or itching. If it does not improve in a few days have it evaluated.
