How safe is it to take lyrica if you have a slightly prolonged qt interval and nsvt?

Numerous drugs are noted to prolong the QT interval, but this becomes an issue if several drugs interact and/or high doses are being prescribed. Lyrica itself has few significant cardiac side effects, and would not be expected to cause arrhythmias. Do discuss fully with prescribing physician.

I don't recommend taking lyrica if you have a prolonged QTc interval as it.has been shown to prolong the QT interval. I don't think it has been reported to cause or aggravate ventricular irritability, however but prolongation of the QT interval increases potential of ventricular tachycardia & the dangerous torsades de pointes which morphs into fatal ventricular fibrillation.? list of harmful meds
