I had brown discharge for 1-2days and than next day heavy bleeding with it leaking on to the pad. the following day bleeding when i wipe but doesn't leaks on pad. i was kind of sexually active 16 days ago. pregnancy test negative. what is going on?

Pregnancy is unlikely given what is described, which may be your menstrual period, with the "heavy bleeding" a result of higher estrogen production with double ovulation. A home pregnancy test is reliable if negative, but see your GYN physician for an exam and possible oral bcp's for contraception.
