So im not sure if i put a new tampon in. i think i got side tracked. i don't feel it.is it possible to get lost?

Yes: If you forgot that you inserted a tampon you may have inserted another one on top of it. This can push the original tampon behind the cervix. It can be difficult to find. If you notice brown, yellow or foul smelling discharge there is likely a tampon stuck. You can see your gynecologist for a quick exam to see if one is in the vagina.
