I had a ct scan of my kidneys and im just wondering what other organs would show up in that scan? im having bowel issues at the mo and im wondering if my bowels and stomach would show if there were any abnormalities too?

Such scans will show up the organs but are not by themselves able to explore many issues within them. When the study uses specific ingested contrast material that is allowed to progress into the nooks & crannies of the stomach or intestines it can highlight anomalies that may otherwise be overlooked. The special imaging studies are modified based on what the doc is looking for.
