Non selective beta blockers blocks beta 2 receptors which may causes smooth muscle contraction which may lead to pulmonary vascular resistance so if someone takes them for long time do they fall under risk for pulmonary hypertension?

In 50 years of using BB never seen or read of pulm hypertension due to them. I would go to Drugs.com and read all about it.

I agree with Dr. H. This would be a convoluted path to pulmonary hypertension. However, nonselective BB's can provoke pulmonary symptoms by virtue of bronchospasm but it would take much chronic bronchospasm to develop pulmonary hypertension.
