A member asked:

What does lentiginous nevus mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lentigines, or liver spots, are benign lesions that occur on the sun-exposed areas of the body. The backs of hands and face are common areas. Lentiginous is just a descriptive term that implies the "nevus" or skin lesion appears to be one of these.
