Rosacea is an inflammatory skin reaction which is thought to be caused in part by a reaction to microscopic mites. Unlike eczema which responds to emmollient creams positively, rosacea can actually flare up when using emollient creams. See your Dr about a complete Rosacea treatment protocol. They may choose to use antiinflammatories, low dose antibiotics and laser/light therapy.
