Got my thyroid blood tests back, my thyroid peroxidase antibody is >1300 iu/ml however my thyroid hormones are both normal. my thyroid is swollen. what does this mean?

You are quite likely to have Lymphocytic Thyroiditis (also known as Hashimoto thyroiditis). Your thyroid function is currently normal, however, over the several years, you have nearly 50% chance to develop hypothyroidism requiring hormone replacement therapy. You need a long term regular follow-up by your PCP or endocrinologist.
