I have used amoxicillin & motrin many times in the past, with no issues. i was prescribed amoxicillin & motrin again today, & after my first dose my eyelids became itchy & flaky. does this mean i have a mild allergy? is it okay to keep taking the med?

Most likely if localized only to your eyelids, there is a contact dermatitis. Gently remove makeup and calamine lotion is often effective. If itching persists, please see your Pediatrician. Watch for signs of breathing difficulties, cough spread of the rash.
