Twitching of the eye is usually from a small section of muscle in the upper or lower lid. There is a condition where the eye itself twitches / moves, but it is usually the lid. Sometimes eye irritation can contribute (dryness, allergy, eyestrain) but often other factors like stress, fatigue, lack of sleep, caffeine are major factors. If the vision is affected I would definitely get an eye exam.

Agree with Dr Chandler, as this description is likely consistent with orbital myokymia, a benign, self-limited condition, which should remit over the next several days. Not clear what you are experiencing regarding an impending "seizure", but if you do lose awareness, seek care ASAP.
