How do you at what age does menopause stop?

Menopause is a gradual process usually beginning at the lessening of periods &skipping time between age 45 to 60. The process "ends" when periods have stopped for more than one year and/or a elevated FSH blood test indicates an extremely elevated level signaling the cessation of ovarian function. Please keep in mind during the irregular period time frame that an occasional egg can "pop out" & PG

This will depend on where you live and what your family history is. I would ask all older women in you family when they went thru it at what age it was when they went thru menopause. Early menopause runs in some families and gallops in others. Then discuss with your Drs.
