Is it possible to get a positive pregnancy test 14 days after having your period? i had a steady flow for about 4-5 days but no cramps or usual period symptoms. i began to have headaches and cravings so i tested and had 2 faint positives?

If your cycle is 28 days you certainly can ovulate and conceive at day.14 of your cycle. Sometimes it's too early for the pregnancy test to be strongly positive, though.

Conception occurs within day or so of the sex. It takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG for a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
