Menstrual cramps: Get a pregnancy test and ultrasound . If pregnancy test positive make sure not ectopic . Ultrasound will help.

Either: Becki, this could be either. Premenstrual symptoms are similar to pregnancy symptoms, with pregnancy symptoms just a bit more pronounced early on. A simple, inexpensive urine pregnancy test should answer your question.
