At "35", there is additional stimulation of the ovaries which may cause ovulation to occur earlier in your standard cycle, leading to earlier than expected menstrual bleeding. This is not unusual, and may occur more often between 35 and 40. Ask your GYN physician about low dose bcp's, which stop ovarian function, allowing for more predictable withdrawal bleeding.
