Candid B lotion is a combination of steroid and antifungal med. This lotion should not be used for scalp dandruff which can be treated with antidandruff shampoo such as selsun (selenium sulfide is the main ingredient). Contact dermatitis of the whole scalp (allergy) is rare, you have to know what you are allergic off. This lotion can be used for fungal lesions on the scalp and it may take weeks.
