What is considered mild emphysema i had a ct and that's what it said i got test result back late in the day..so waiting on my doctor to call me on monday..really worried..i stopped smoking when i saw results..a little late.?

Most likely this represents the effects of smoking on the lung. Pulmonary function testing may be helpful in determining the next step in your management. The finding of mild and cessation of smoking lessen the likelihood of worsening. Watch for cough, wheezing and shortness of breath.
