very unlikely. Usually chlamydia responds to tetracycline type antibiotics. Suggest that you see your doc and get culture and sensitivity to determine exactly what medication is the correct one for your infection.

Although doxy is commonly used to treat chlamydia infections, azithromycin can also cure them. An effective dose would be 500mg,2 together on day one and 500mgs once daily.on days 2&3. Cure would take 7 days.
