We still have mask mandates in my country, kids still use face mask for school and adults for closed spaces, stores etc.. is this still necessary? there are some places we can be without it but i don't know if it is necessary or not?

It is now a controversial issue. In this country masking is optional in most places. I'm a believer in masking & social distancing when indoors in close quarters with numerous people around. Try to avoid this subvariant infection as I've seen some young,strong people laid low with it and taking 3 weeks to feel back to normal. Not everyone gets by with a mild case of the sniffles.

Common masks have pore sizes far too large to stop the 1micron virus, so I consider them more show than protective. They are the equivalent to trying to stop smoke with a fish net. You live where you live and must comply with the rules of your country.
