Without the exact numbers it is not possible to tell. If your creatinine is 1.2 0r lower your kidney function is normal. Regarding BUN if it is high have it repeated and if still high have your MD investigate

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it is likely that you were dehydrated when blood was collected resulting in high BUN. Drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless. Wish you good health!
