What are the symptoms of a damaged or irritated diaphragm? could you damage your diaphragm from severe coughing or improper breathing? would an ultrasound of the diaphragm be able to check for damage?

What are your symptoms? Damage to diaphragm is rare and coughing would not do it. If you have difficulty in breathing or exercise intolerance, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
