Hello dr i got an hickey on tuesday and i want to get rid of it quickly so i apply some methods like rubbing it with spoon and apply ice cube but instid of geeting rid of it i get severe pain ain swelling and get a bigger hickey what to do now please?

Do not rub it or apply anything other than cover makeup if needed. Moist heat several times a day can improve blood flow and let it heal faster, though it may be uncomfortable since heat increases pain sensitivity. Pain reflects disturbance of the nerve endings by your rubbing.
