I use to wash my hair with only water and shampoo after exercise. that disaster made my scalp suffer as hell. from last 2 years, i have been using betonil and betnovate lotion on my scalp. it cures my scalp but has made them dry, frizzy. any advice?

Something doesn't compute. Regardless of exercise, washing hair with shampoo and water rinse shouldn't cause any kind of scalp problem, unless you are allergic to the shampoo. Presumably a doctor diagnosed a problem (seborrheic dermatitis? allergy?) and prescribed both steroid products, right? If not working as well as expected, discuss with doctor, ideally a dermatologist. Good luck.
