A 35-year-old male asked:
I have a c5-c6 disc herniation showing 1.5mm rostral extension. i have some swallowing issues and also feel like there is an object in my throat at times. could c5-c6 with 1.5mm rostral extension be pressing on my esophagus?

Your swallowing issues have no correlation with your disc issues in your cervical spine, and I would not call a 1.5 mm extrusion a "herniation" (more likely at most, protrusion). There is NO anatomical way a disc within the spinal canal could exert pressure on your esophagus.
