Had nausea + stomach cramps Thurs night and took 30 ml pepto dose. Each morning since my stool is black. today is Sunday. The stool has form (not watery) and doesnt smell worse than normal. No nausea or cramps now. How long will it last?
After taking clindamycin(2weeks) and metronidazole(3day) for tooth infection they ruined my stomach( feel empty and sore but no cramp) and had diarrhea for 3days. After pepto, the stool is still soft side but I feel better. Can this be c.diff?
Black stool this morning. Was NOT tarry, didnt disperse in the water. I poop an hour later, it was dark brown, not black. Had pepto on wed. & thurs.
Ive been having dark brown, but not black, stool the past couple weeks with sometimes visible mucus on it. I dont take any iron supplements or pepto bismol. I do suffer from chronic constipation. Is this a cause for concern?
