A member asked:

I'm a journalist and fact-checker currently working i'm a report on prostate cancer and would like to ask if regular sex (up to 30 times a month) reduces the risk of prostate cancer thank you?

Absolutely not, that is a myth. I doubt that you would find a scientific study on such hypothesis and I wonder where you got that fact to begin with.

There is no known valid study regarding this in the Urological literature. And it would be difficult and take time. Cancer anywhere depends on many factors like heredity, environment, diet and yes, chance. This is the reason that the absolute cure for most cancers has eluded medicine. But dogged research goes on and hopefully one day there will be success. Good and probing question

Having sex every day for 30 days will allow one to be exposed to many STD'S, if safe sex procedures are not followed. A healthy life style and diet and a PSA test once a year will keep prostate cancer in check.
