: Muscle spasms is a very broad term. Head? Neck? Back? Hip? Leg? Shoulder? I trust he had a proper exam and, if indicated, X-rays? If not that would be my next step now. If he had them then discus with Dr who saw him and X-rays. I would be making a recommendation in the dark and do not do so. Sorry and good luck.
