A member asked:

I have a white lump in my throat and i can touch it using hand. it doesnt hurt or affect my eating but i can feel it when i move my tongue backwards, is that normal and will it go away by time?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may watch and wait. If the lump doubles in size, becomes painful, bleeds, ulcerates, causes difficulty in swallowing or breathing, you get fever, or lose weight or if other lumps develop, see a doctor. Wish you good health!
