39weeks preg. no dilation but baby is positioned and i am thinned/effaced. more discharge. contractions not close. what are chances of water breaking?

If you were my pt: And were 39 weeks and have an effaced cervix and are having irregular contractions i would bring you in and rupture your membranes and start pitocin, (oxytocin) if necessary which it may not be abd get u in active labor, ideal time to deliver is 39-40 weeks , and you will be uncomfortable and have a hard time sleeping with contractions going on, at 39 weeks the baby is better off outside than in!
