A member asked:

My husband and i took ivermectin for covid-19, and while on it and for a week or two after, we found that we had no pain in our arthritic joints. has ivermectin ever been studied or used as an anti-inflammatory for arthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ivermectin does have anti-inflammatory properties & that is why some clinicians thought it may help in Covid infections and may also mitigate long Covid inflammatory processes. Others thought it also has antiviral effects but I'm aware of studies using it for arthritis.
