How do i help my teenager who can't swallow a tablet to take paxlovid? i tried to crush them, but they leave an awful taste behind in the mouth and nauseous feeling. this has become traumatic beyond covid illness itself. please share all your tips?

You may mix the crushed tablet with apple sauce to mask the taste.

Try to have her practice swallowing with water, a milkshake or apple juice. It is better to not crush the tablets. The full course should be completed. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and prolonged cough.
