Fever is a temperature over 100.4F, which is a systemic sign for a local bite. Other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, and pale skin can occur within a few days of the bite, but it does not correlate with the severity of toxicity of the bite. It is recommended to get re-evaluated with potentially a full work-up for complications
