A member asked:

If uneven breasts are a result of hormonal imbalance, will hormone medication (to balance hormones) help breasts be symmetrical? ive had uneven breasts for as long as i can remember. uneven breasts and areolas. i want to avoid plastic surgery?

The uneven issue is more a reduced sensitivity to the hormones by the tissues than that one side got more or less hormones than the other. I would not assume manipulating the hormones you take will make a difference. Consult a breast surgeon specialist with your concerns to discover your options.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Some amount of symmetry is normal. However if the uneven size is a cosmetic concern, you should consult a plastic surgeon. Hormonal manipulation is not likely to address the issue. Wish you good health!
