A member asked:

I have borderline high cholesterol; however, my values are as follows: total cholesterol: 234.3 mg/l hdl: 70.3 ldl: 143 triglycerides: 71.7. how are my values look like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your cholesterol and LDL are higher than desired. You can improve these by losing weight and regular aerobic exercise. Wish you good health!
