A member asked:

Can you get covid from a person who is a close contact but tested negative on the same day you saw him . he started developing symptoms one day after i saw him and then tested positive ?

Maybe/not. You would hope the testing done on the contact day was done correctly but it is hard to know for sure. If the same system was done the next day & was positive there was some point in that time interval that the contact was incubating but not spreading the germ.

It is possible to get Covid in the circumstance you described. If you are vaccinated and do not have other diseases, you risk of serious illness or death is very low. If you are vaccinated, get a booster dose. Wish you good health!
