If the lesion looks like a target sign, Lyme disease should be considered. The exposure to the cat may cause an allergic rash, and avoid if possible. Topical or oral antihistamine use is often effective for an allergic rash. Allergic reaction symptoms may also involve itching, sneezing, watery eyes and runny nose.
