Not providing ventilation was a mistake. Throat irritation doesn't necessarily mean lung involvement and lack of respiratory symptoms is reassuring as well. If there were,she would have to seek emergency attention. The throat irritation shouldn't move down into the bronchial tubes and lungs.Throat irritation should resolve in a day or so. Fortunately she didn't experience eye or nose irritation.
