A member asked:

Hi..i had protected sex..however used a latex free ( polysperene) condom due to my history of latex allergy...i did hiv duo combo lab test at 45 days and it was non reactive..do i need to repeat the test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You do not need to repeat the test for HIV, However, HIV is only one of the STDs. A condom may not protect against HPV, Herpes, LGV, syphilis, pubic lice etc. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.
