Workup diagnose: Wheezing can be an indication of a number of conditions, including retention of fluid around the airways, bronchoconstriction from mucus plugs or asthma. I would suggest that your physician obtain a chest radiograph, an O2 saturation reading and pulmonary testing to further assess the cause.
