The EKG tracing is often used to identify structural abnormalities in the heart. When part of the heart is getting insufficient oxygen (ischemia), then this may show up on the EKG tracing in a familiar pattern. I am assuming that you are reading the computer generated EKG results. These are sometimes inaccurate. You need to discuss this result with the doc who is treating you for sinus tachycardia
