I have hives on my hands that shown up 2 days in a row from medications named lexapro and atarax after the drugs ware off they disappear after a few hours is it a cause for concern?i have just started them saturday night?

The rash may not be related to the medication, and it is best to have a consultation either with Healthtap or your PCP. Hives tend to be blotchy, red and may disappear and reappear. Discuss whether there are treatment alternatives. Watch for signs of itching, spread of the hives and shortness of breath/difficulty breathing. Discuss whether an antihistamine should be used.
