Would propranaolol have an impact on libido for around 1-2 weeks when i first start taking it? or would it impact libido everytime i take it because it numbs anxiety, would it also numb libido?

Propanolol is a beta blocker that can either be short acting or extended release formulations. From the manufacturer’s labeling, it does not have libido listed as a side effect. However, there are post marketing reports of propanolol causing depression and affecting blood pressure and blood flow

The impact on libido is a secondary issue due to the primary adverse effects of impaired cognition, depression, fatigue, decreased exercise tolerance, and lower pulse and blood pressure. My practice stopped using propranolol over 20 yrs ago due to intolerable side effects, and availability of newer beta blockers.
