Pregnancy has been documented on any day of the cycle including during menses, It is more common mid cycle and early or late dates would rarely cause pregnancy except in women with unpredictable dates. Predicting ovulation itself is prone to error. There is no accurate way to calculate risk. Contraception should be practiced for any exposure if pregnancy needs to be avoided.
