Two weeks is more than long enough for the stitches to be no longer needed. Your skin wound would have healed enough that stitches would have been removed by now if these were not absorable. Wish you good health!

'Dissolvable' stitches on skin is unusual and they can fall off. The skin should heal in this period of time. If stitches persis and annoy you have your surgeon remove them.
