A member asked:

30 y.old. i had a urine test. everything was normal except: hemoglobin + (one cross) red cells: 2-3 and instead of yellow colour it said brown . other things were normal. no symptoms just had a check up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, what you described is not a cause for concern. A minor contamination with vaginal fluid could explain the findings. Wish you good health!
