Is it possible to ovulate during or on the last day of your period?

The definition of ovulation is the release of the egg from the ovary. This occurs prior to the start of menses. Once the egg is released and there is no sperm present , fertilization does not occur. Instead menstrual period occurs. It is unlikely to ovulate during the last day of your menses/period. I hope my answer helps.

Pregnancy is known from sex on any all days of the period, Therefore it not safe to rely on the rhythm of your cycle for contraception. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
