It depends on what type of acne lesions present and how severe. In general there are topical treatments: antibiotic creams/azelaic acid requiring a prescription, medical-grade light therapy, otc acne products containing benzoyl peroxide and/or salicylic acid and oral treatments. First step is to go and see a dermatologist and/or primary care md. It takes time to clear up acne so be patient.
