Have NO clue as to what is done in Australia, but in the USA, the lab report indicates hemolysis and highlights possible inaccurate results. You can certainly ask about this from the lab directly or your doctor's office.

When blood is hemolyzed in the test tube before the test, some measurements will be inaccurate because red cells release these intracellular components when red cells are broken (hemolysis). Measurement of potassium level is affected the most because potassium is a predominantly intracellular electrolyte.
