Taking Vitamin B1(Thiamine) supplement dose not cause any heart related adverse reaction, if that is your question? But Thiamine deficiency in the diet can cause two clinical conditions 1)Beriberi (In kids and in adults) and 2)Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome. Beriberi in adults especially Wet Beriberi can cause Cardiomegaly, Cardiomyopathy, Heart Failure, Peripheral Edema and Tachycardia.
